Embarrassing story

Background: I have a problem with mixing my words up sometimes by accident. The way I do it is called a “Spoonerism” or very similar to one. It is when you switch the syllables on words like the most famous Spoonerism, by Dr. Spooner himself: “It is kisstomery to cuss the bride”.

At work at the end of your shift, you give a verbal report to the nurse(s) taking your patients for the next shift. I was giving report and was describing my patient’s lung sounds and meant to say “She has a lot of crackles and wheezes”. Except…I said “She has a lot of crackers and weasels”.
