I got to work today with mascara only on one eye.

Then, the lady that I fired sent a paper that said “Emily, f*** off” on it.

It was a pretty good day.

I fired someone for the first time today.

I got him a new toy at the vet for comforts. He likes it. He looks so brave here.

They let me pick him up at 6. He was supposed to come home with his IV in just incase he needed emergency medicine tonight, but he wouldnt leave it in, he kept messing with it. Both of his front legs were shaved for the IV and his left leg has a bandage on it. Im just supposed to watch him now to make sure he is ok and doesnt have any seizures or high heart rate.

The vet called poison control while I was on my way there and for a dog they said 1/2 of a dramamine tablet is toxic and causes very high heart rate and severe seizures. They gave him shots and made him throw up. He had ingested 1 and a half pills they saw when they made him throw up. They also gave him charcoal to help absorb stuffs.

He seems to be doing okay now, just kinda sleepy. I cleaned for hours and hours today to make sure he cant get into anything else. While cleaning, I found other pills on the floor he had tried to get into, but couldnt chew open. omg! I put everything out of his reach now.

What he had done was stood up on something and reached it on the counter. I picked up all the pills and put them high on a shelf in the closet, and you should too if you have pets!

I think he is going to be ok.
