Some students are very worried tonight at Southern Adventist University. Just a few nights ago, two girls rooms got broken into and what the theives stole isn’t what you’d expect.

Some girls at the Christian University say somebody broke into their rooms with a purpose.. to steal all their lingerie and nothing else. And, they say they’d consider it a prank, if someone hadn’t broken their windows and gotten through their alarm system just to get into the room.
“They took all of my bras and underwear.. and some of my roomates,” says Annette Chaviano.
Chaviano says she came home Sunday night and found her dorm room broken into… and some of her most “intimate” possessions gone.
“I would have rather them taken my computer, because that would have been strictly theft or to take money,” she says.
But, Annette’s computer is still there… so is everything else she owns, except what was in her lingerie drawer.. and that’s what makes the theft very personal.
Annette says what has surprised her the most about the whole situation is it seems the school, which prides itself on safety and morals.. hasn’t really done much to help. But, the school’s president says that’s not true.
“The safety of our students is our prime concern and we’re taking measures to make sure they not only feel safe, but are safe,” says the school’s president, Gordon Beitz.
But, Annette says that’s something she is definitely not feeling .. not when someone is still out there and not when something worse could happen.”It’s not just for me, but there’s a dorm full of girls here, there’s 300 plus rooms in this dorm that people could get into,” she says.
The girls also filed a police report with the Collegedale Police Department. The school says it is working with them and they do have some suspects.
