PICTURE TIME

My mom gave me her digital camera right? Well she is so computer illiterate that even after having it for a year, has not taken off pictures she took because she doesnt know how. Note that she did not install software or anything on her computer. Anyways, I found interesting pictures of my Grandpa’s squaredancing birthday party and my graduation (yes children, I graduated last year, Im only 18 (19 in 7 days). Here they are for your viewing pleasure.

This is my brother Richie. This picture is very scary. I imagine he took it himself.

I was talking to my mom yesterday, and we got to talking about fiber somehow. I think it was because we were talking about my nutrition class last semester or something. Anyways, I told her that we learned in class that you should eat the “woody parts” (me and my friends found this funny) of vegetables, and asked her what exactly the “woody part” is. She replied “I think its the shaft…(pause) of things like broccoli.” I tried not to laugh.

Has anyone seen that subaru commercial where they say that they have x-ray vision and what not? They show scenes where they see inside a car, and then a little boy inside of a man saying that “they see the little boy in every man” or something, and then there is a scene where a black employee (one of the x-ray people) is walking through a doorway next to a hot blonde chick and glances at her chest. I think its funny. He was looking at her boobies.

My brother told me today that at his school a teacher asked the class what they would do with a million dollars. Several students responded they’d buy a very large piece of property, and put a mobile home on it.

I ate an adult happy meal today. Only cuz I had to say I had one. Its silly they still call them happy meals. It comes with a premium salad, a step tracker, a bottle of water or whatever drink you want. I sure do love them premium salads.

My brother Alex is home today. He had stitches in his lip cuz he got hit with a hockey stick. He has an afro.

My 10 hour drive to ohio is done. it were crappy; I stopped half of the way or so (in lexington, ky) and stayed at a holiday inn. Most of those are decent midquality sleeping institutions, you know, but this one was gay. Not only did it not have a breakfast, but it only had 13 CHANNELS ON TV. I got home today at like 3 and my mom wasnt home yet, and I remembered that I had lost my house key, so I got to sit in the driveway in my car for an hour. Also, on the way home, I hit a piece of retread from one of those big trucks or something, and who knows how (I thought tires were made of rubber) I cracked my bumper and completely tore out the black lining crap inside the tire well.

Then I had to go to my younger sister Katie’s closing ceremonies thing. It was awful; it consisted of the kindergarteners graduating, awards given out for perfect attendance, honor rolls, etc., the elementary kids singing stupid songs, and the 4th graders playing their recorders (which was considerably funny to me, because they always mess up you know, and the two things that make me laugh most are kids messing up on musical instruments and men in womens’ clothing). There was more after that (the 8th grade graduation mostly, but Katie is just a 7th grader, so she didnt have to participate of course), but I couldnt take it any longer, so me and my brother left early. Two different kids farted during the ceremony. I went in a skirt with my legs unshaven for 3 or 4 days. It was maddddd hot.

Today I saw someone actually EATING pork rinds. It seriously doesn’t much worse than that. Not only is it pork skin, its fried pork skin. Sick. They also looked to have some sort of flavoring on them, they had some kinda red stuff on them. This does not lower the gross factor by any means.

I have an Aunt Teresa. She recently divorced her husband Trace who she was married a good while to and has two kids that are under the age of 6 with. He was a really nice guy; I liked him alot. He was one of those people who are just all around nice and friendly. They lived not too far from me, so I saw them a good amount. I found out today that Trace is dead. He was a farmer (pig farmer, as well as food farmer), and I guess he was using his tractor and it flipped over on top of him when he was riding in a ditch. I find this really sad, because I actually liked him as a person, and my very young cousins now have no father.

On a lighter note, my mom gave me her digital camera. Steven says its a decent camera. Its a kodak cx4230. Free digital cameras make me happy.

Like two thursdays ago my stepdad was taking Katie to her mom’s house when he saw a young woman in distress on the side of the road. She was on her way home to Cincinnati and her car had died for serious. So my stepdad called my mom to give her a ride all the way to Cincinnati (he had her do it cuz you know, it’d be more comfortable for a female to take a female somewhere I suppose). So anyways, the moral of the story is, today we got a huge styrofoam package from her parents, and inside was ribs and all this icecream, kept cold by tons of dry ice. Me and Richie (my brother who will be 16 in august) had lots of fun playing with the dry ice afterwards. Of course, since my family doesnt eat meat, we gave the ribs to my mom’s like best friend, April. Her tv got electrocuted by a storm and broke recently. But…anyways, it was cool that her parents were so nice to give us food. And sending frozen food in the mail with dry ice is awesome.
